6484 Hoya Ban Ngong Ngoy This Thailand species has a lovely light fragrance with a strong and vigorous growth habit similar to Hoya carnosa. The umbel of flowers is about 3" wide and boasts tiny maroon stars with white frosted edges. The leaves are dark green with silver white flecks and darker accented green veining. 6597 Hoya Retusa - Grass-leafed Hoya One of the most unique looking members of its family, Hoya Retusa has very flat and narrow foliage that makes it stand out! Its jumble of stick-like foliage has a delicate beauty unlike any other houseplant. When it blooms, Retusa puts on individual red centered blooms which is also non typical of the Hoya family which usually bloom in clusters. The hard-to-find, this unique and spectacular plant will quickly become the center of attention wherever you place it. First, And, if and when this houseplant blooms, it displayed individual flowers with red centers, unlike other Hoyas which bloom in clusters.This plant likes bright indirect light and should be allowed to dry out between waterings. Hoya retusa is native to India. The plant consists of long and thin vine-like stems. A large number of green, thin cylindrical leaves grow on the stems. A mature leaf is around 5 inches in length with a tiny heart-shaped crown at the top. Tiny white fragrant flowers with reddish coronas grow to beautify the plant throughout the months from spring to fall. The flowers are also full of nectar and can drip nectar! This plant is perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor ornamentation. You can use it in a terrestrial pot or in a hanging basket. Additionally, with a little effort, you can even train it to climb on support.
