Native to Tibet and western China, Lonicera thibetica is a large shrub, reaching from 5-10 feet tall in gardens and parks. It enjoys full sun and regular water, and it can tolerate moderate water. This is a great choice for any landscape, as it features big pink flowers and these flowers are very fragrant, too! Not just the flowers, though, bring joy to nature: The nectar of these flowers attract both hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.

For cold regions, though, potted versions can be taken indoors during winter months. If you are growing it in a pot, be sure to provide plenty of sunlight and water, adding a plant food with a 5-10-5 fertilizer for added nutrition.

No matter where you live, though, Lonicera thibetica is a great choice to add charm and beauty to your garden. Not only is it low-maintenance and cold-tolerant, but it adds a great fragrance with its gorgeous flowers, while also bringing delightful wildlife with its nectar. It's no wonder it is becoming a popular choice across the world.
