This early bloomer produces 1" yellow flowers. Flowers: fall to spring. Excels in toughest conditions, chosen as plant of the year in 1999 by the Florida Nurserymen and Growers Associations. The desert cassia requires little to no care and is drought tolerant. Propagated from seed. There are no pests or diseases associated with this tree. Attracts butterflies.
