Large upright shrub that can reach 20' tall and 6-8' wide, but is usually seen in landscapes 6'-10' high. The young plants need some shade, and will tolerate sun only after they mature. Small and inconspicuous white flowers in winter and early spring cover the shrub, then bloom sporadically throughout summer. The apricot-scented fragrance released is powerful and exquisite.

Tea Olive, Fragrant Olive, Sweet Olive. This is a very popular fragrant plant that is cold-hardy and very easy to grow! Small white flowers in winter and early spring cover the shrub, then it blooms sporadically throughout summer. The apricot-scented fragrance released is powerful and exquisite. This variety blooms on and off year round, with the most profuse blooming from Winter through Spring in Florida.
