Produces lilac-fragrant, lavender, showy flowers during the late summer/fall. Produces long, slender, seed pods. Typically 25-35ft in height. Plant at least 30 feet from power lines and 16-22 feet from your house. Water during planting and for one year thereafter. According to other sources, Lonchocarpus violaceus and Lonchocarpus capassa are different plants. |
