Ipomoea is a large genus of more than 500 species of the tropical and warm-temperate parts of both hemispheres, almost all of the species being climbing herbs or shrubs. A site in full sun and average, well-drained, evenly moist soil is ideal.

Unfortunately my plant does not bear seeds but can be grown from cuttings. I wonder this happens to my plant only or others also. I used to sit in my garden (on the terrace)early morning everyday and watch the beauty of this while I have my morning cup of tea. It is so relaxing. Am now looking for the orange colour of this type.

The plant in the upper right http://toptropicals.com/pics/garden/05/5/5634.jpg looks like the white form of Ipomoea cairica based on the presentation of the flower and the shape of the leaves... I grow and trade seeds of all plants in the Morning Glory Family of Convolvulaceae and regularly contribute to the Morning Glory Forum at Daves Garden http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/650958/ and am a member of the Gardenweb Ron_Convolvulaceae member page at the Gardenweb https://auth.gardenweb.com/members/ron_convolvulaceae I am interested to trade unusual and rare seeds in the Morning Glory Family.
