Combretum fruticosum Family: Combretaceae Orange Flame Vine, Chameleon Vine Origin: North America This is a tropical twining vine with slender leaves; it can grow up to 20 feet tall, but can be pruned to a shrub. It has long showy red tubular flowers in 4 - 6 inch long clusters like a toothbrush, giving the vine a multi - colored appearance. Tolerates temperature as low as 20° F with little damage.
