I grow a lot of tropicals here in St. Louis, Mo., but I have to lift them in the fall and store them inside until the spring. Your e mails are enjoyable, the information valuable and the pictures are marvelous. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I ordered an Surinam cherry tree "Black Star" var. I have to say I was extremely satisfied with my order. It arrived quickly and well packed. WOW!!! what a specimen, healthy and full of life. I wouldn't be surprised if it produced fruit this spring. I will definitely order from them again. Thank you sending such a nice specimen. Everything I've heard about how incredible your nursery is....is true. You have a loyal customer in me. Thank you so very much.

Just a little thank you for such a nice and interesting site. And i like the sharing of yourselves.
I have grown up in Reunion island where i always loved the vegetation and to hike in the mountains, which are beautiful there :i dont know if you have been there..
I have been a nursing sister in the past, but started horticulture studies (distance learning) with the university of south africa 2 years ago when i discovered my passion for plants, having my own garden (i lived in durban for 8 years).
I now live on the beach in Mauritius, which is beautiful, but frustrating with the salt and the wind on the plants..
All of that to say that it is encouraging to see people change their professional lives "late", because sometimes i think that even if plants is a passion, i will not start anything now or at 41 when i finish my studies, (i am now 39)as a buisness, because it is a bit late and i have still so much to learn..but you gave me hope that it is possible, and you have done it very well!
So thank you again and god bless you.

I have bought Acacia farnesiana, & Nyctanthes arbotristis from you at the Selby plant sales; both are healthy & still growing well. I wish I had come across the card you gave me at the last sale sooner!! I have gardened for fragrance since childhood, and have never seen such a wonderful selection of fragrant plants (and I've looked exhaustively over the years.)You even have wild cinnamon(Canella w.),which is shamefully hard to get here in Florida,(where it is supposed to be native). I wish to order soon but must stop reading your fascinating website,( as it is 3 AM & I have to get up for the day in 4 hours)! Bless you for growing & making available such fabulous plants.
May your Gardens always be Green!

Really very useful site for me. It was the only way to identify flowers seen in Honolulu, Martinica and Réunion iles.
Thanks
